As a little girl, building interiors of houses with lego was my favourite past time. I pronounced, "I'm going to be an art-i-tect". My love of layouts and geometry has stuck with me since childhood and while I didn't become an Architect, my eye and passion for design guided me to Graphic Design.
My design education began at British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) as a 2013 graduate with an Associate Certificate of Graphic Design (Distinction). I immediately applied for the diploma program at the Visual College of Art & Design (VCAD) as I was inspired to learn more about the history and broader scope of design principles and processes. I graduated with a Diploma of Graphic Design in 2015 and presented my work at VCAD's Portfolio Show.
The advice of my design teachers and insights from my informational interviews lead me to the city of Toronto. Opportunities, change of scenery, inspiring and motivated design community, galvanized me to move to the big city.
I love to meet and work with people, learn from others and make the most out of life!
